Inside of a tooth.

 - Dr. Prabhu (BDS, MDS), email: mail2prabhuraj@gmail.com

The human tooth is divided into 2 parts, the crown and the root. Pulp chamber is found in the crown portion of the tooth, where as root canal in the root portion of the tooth. Both these spaces contain the pulp (nerves and blood vessels).

Tooth whitening

Dental Stains: These are the pigmented deposits found on the tooth surface (extrinsic stains), sometimes these pigmented stains get incorporated into the tooth structure (intrinsic stains). They can be effectively removed by a procedure called "bleaching".

Braces, Orthodontic treatment

What is Orthodontics?
Orthodontics has been defined as that branch of dentistry concerned with growth of the face, development of the dentition, and the prevention and correction of occlusal anomalies.

The cases shown below are treated with fixed dental braces. you may appreciate pre-treatment and post-treatment pictures below, with braces. In my Clinic I use the latest techniques to treat the irregular/forwardly placed teeth. At the end of the treatment the teeth become straight and the smile gets beautiful.

In the above picture the patient is wearing braces.

The above picture shows pre-treatment and post-treatment photographs of  four different patients, with different types of  dental malocclusion.

Tooth, dental problems

A Child With Toothache:

children with toothache may have disturbed sleep, distressed, difficulty with eating.
Examination- Look for caries, abscess formation, tooth mobility due to apical infection or exfoliation, and erupting tooth.
Winning child's trust for treatment is very important to the dentist.

The picture above shows Dental Caries affecting many teeth. Such a condition can be treated very well with aesthetic restoration and patient education on good oral hygine practice. At my dental clinic, I have treated such cases with composite restorations.
